B-Boy Photography

Gianne asked me a week ago whether I would be interested in having a B-Boy photoshoot and I said I would love to. She said her friend, Chuo Ying and Phey Ying are really good at B-Boy so I was like, "omg why not right" and so we had a deal. Gianne helped to ask both of them whether they can be in the shoot, they agreed and we set a date.

Chuo Ying helped to book the dance studio in Kota Permai. I thought that we do the shoot in the dance studio 'cause that's where dancing belongs, right? So we met at the studio at 1pm.

Chuo Ying was there first so she was warming up and I was testing the camera lighting. After that, we were on the go and Chuo Ying asked me whether I wanted her to do the freeze moves and I was like, "freeze?" And then she explained what freeze meant and I was like OOHHH. Freeze meant still moves :p So Chuo Ying was doing her thing and I was doing my thing (lol), and then she was like freestyling and I was like whoa.

Phey Ying came after that and she asked me the same question whether I wanted her to do freeze moves or freestyle but it's all fine, I mean they already look good when not doing anything :p I was guessing Phey Ying had more experience because she was doing it very well and she was guiding Chuo Ying and all. Damn gurl :p

After some shots they told me they needed 10 minutes to choreograph something and I said okay but unfortunately I had to go that time so I was pretty disappointed that I didn't see them dance the real thing :( But I had some good shots which were pretty satisfying. I used the black and white effect on the photos 'cause I thought that it would add more momentum to the photos, and here are some best shots:

The freeze :p

I like this one :3

Maybe next time we would do another shoot :3

Classic Car Pin-Up Girl

Trisha's dad has a purple Corvette and she insisted on doing a shoot with it (haha :p).

I went to her house at 12pm and we waited for Trisha's dad to drive the car to a shady place. I've never done a pin-up girl shoot before so I was kinda blur on how to get the right angle, but here are some shots that I find good in my opinion:

It was a very short shoot, but it was okay and I had fun with Trisha :)

Yellow

I had a shoot with a new model today, Nicol Yiap :) I asked her to be my model two months ago and she said yes (omg yay). I told her about the theme of the shoot and she was okay with it. The theme was yellow, and so I had my yellow umbrella as a prop.

I wanted my model to wear a yellow dress to fit the theme but Nicol didn't have it at that time. But then a few days before she told me she had a friend who owned a yellow dress and she could borrow it and I was very happy :3

The shoot was done at the other side of the lakeside. With my other partner in crime, Trisha, we met up near the basketball court. While waiting for Nicol to change into the dress in the public toilet, Trisha saw some wild flowers that could be used for the shoot so she plucked a bouquet. When she plucked it out, the bouquet dropped to the lake. Luckily it was still floating so I managed to pick it up (you're welcome trisha lol).

While walking to the other side, we stopped a few times to take a few shots because of the suitable scenery. Nicol was new to modelling but she had very pretty eyes so it was okay :3

Here are some best shots:

Then we stopped at this pathway hill or something to take some shots:

This is my favourite shot :)

After we called it a wrap, we went to Starbucks. Then Nicol went home early and me and Trisha gossip and such. Hope to have another shoot with Nicol :3
